History:
The BMW 2002 tii is one of the most famous rally sports cars of the early 1970s. The model depicts the car in action at the 1975 Monte Carlo Rally, one of Europe's most traditional rally events, as Car No. 30. "tii" stands for "Turismo Internazionale Iniezione" – the 2.0-litre M10 engine with Kugelfischer fuel injection produced 130 hp (96 kW) and is the final evolution of the BMW 02 series ahead of the 2002 turbo. The 2002 tii was renowned for its light, nimble chassis and sporty performance and is still today a synonym for German engineering.
