It was a homologation model, produced in limited numbers for road use in order to qualify for racing. Key features included the high-revving 749cc DOHC inline-four engine, the aluminum Deltabox frame concept, and high-quality suspension components. The OW01 is still regarded as one of the legendary superbikes of its era and remains highly sought after among collectors and motorcycle enthusiasts.
