Tamiya

These craft saws feature 0.1mm thick photo-etched blades to allow precision cuts on your models. When you use a standard craft saw for modification, you have to consider the thickness of the blade itself. However, as the blade of this item is very thin, the cut line is also very small. These stainless steel blades are very convenient for applying modifications to 1/35 scale figures and cutting away control surfaces of aircraft models. It is also possible to attach the saws to Item 74040 Modelers Knife or 74098 Modelers Knife Pro for easier handling.

In some situations, the cut made by a normal modeling saw may be too wide, leading to unwanted changes to the length of the part. This set of saws solves this problem as they are made from 0.15mm thick etched metal. The grips of the saws can be folded over and attached to a Modeler's Knife (Item 74040 / 74098) for precise cutting control. The set includes four types of saw blades which can be used for a variety of situations.
