About the original:
The Sd.Kfz. 164 Nashorn (initially named Hornisse) was a German tank destroyer developed during World War II. Introduced in 1943, it combined the chassis of the Panzer III/IV with the powerful 8.8 cm PaK 43/1 gun, capable of destroying heavily armored Allied tanks such as the T-34 or Sherman from long range.

Although its armor was relatively thin, the Nashorn proved highly effective thanks to its exceptional firepower, accuracy, and range. It saw action primarily on the Eastern Front and later in Italy, serving as an interim design until heavier tank destroyers like the Jagdpanther entered service.
