The Polikarpov I-16 Type 5  from Zvezda in 1/4 scale is a detailed plastic model kit of the Soviet fighter aircraft from the pre-war period and World War II. The kit allows the construction of two variants: an early version with a closed cockpit and conventional wings, as well as a later version with an open cockpit and reinforced wings.

The kit consists of 225 parts and results in a model with a length of approximately 12.5 cm. The engine cowling can be displayed open, and RS-82 rockets can be mounted under the wings. The model can be displayed either standing with extended landing gear or in flight, with a corresponding stand included in the kit.
