History:
The Lancia 037 Rally was one of the last rear-wheel-drive cars of the spectacular Group B era and remains one of the most iconic rally machines of the 1980s. Developed by Lancia in cooperation with Abarth, it featured a supercharged 2.0-litre engine and a lightweight tubular spaceframe with composite body panels.
During the 1986 season, the car was campaigned in the European Rally Championship (ERC) by the Duriforte Rally Team, including an entry at the Rallye Vinho da Madeira. Driven by Carlos Bica, it achieved an impressive 5th overall finish. The “Detail-Up Version” commemorates this ERC entry, highlighting the distinctive livery and technical features of the period competition car.
